Più lento e cupo dei precedenti album, ma nettamente più massiccio. Un album decisamente epico, imponente, ma forse un pochino tutto uguale, dove una scossa quà e là avrebbe dato un minimo di varietà che a questo Hels Vite manca, e questo è forse l'unico difetto. Ottima la prova del nuovo singer (ex Naglfar) Jens Rydén, discreta la produzione e fastidiosa la versione slim cd. |

cupo, cavernoso, inquietante, oscuro...con queste 4 parole si riassume l'essenza di questo album...dopo la partenza di Väänänen c'erano dei dubbi sul suo successore ma posso dire che Ryden si abbina perfettamente alle nuove sonorità dei vikings svedesi...un album ragionato che si discosta sia dai primi lavori più grezzi sia dagli ultimi più sperimentali...lento e cadenzato...raggiunge l'apice con Isolation e Hels Vite..
